Steel crisis: Tata confirms 1,200 job losses

By gavriel.hollander@emap.com (Gavriel Hollander) Tata Steel has confirmed the loss of 1,200 jobs from its Scunthorpe and two Scottish plants as it stops the production of steel plate in response to “a flood of cheap imports”.
